    a.  Class discussion about policies and procedures which will guide our learning this year; emphasis on class routine, grades and rubric grading system, class expectations, and the AP Exam.  Read the syllabus for detailed explanations.
    b.  3rd period "honors study hall" and using calcchat.com for HW help
    c.  Rules about recommendation letters for applications and scholarships: 
         i. Give me at least two weeks' notice for the first letter you request
        ii. I will give only two recommendations for a particular scholarship, first
             come, first served.  If two other students have already requested a letter
             from me for a scholarship for which you are applying, you will have to seek
             your recommendation elsewhere.
  4. Exit Task
    a.  Skills check questions on prior knowledge 1 - 4, finish on your own if not done in class.

    a. Read p. 42 - 46, complete the two Exploration problems in the gold boxes and bring for discussion tomorrow
