SATIRE SCORING GUIDE

Your satire will be evaluated by the following criteria:

relevance and importance of message: are you addressing a real problem?

general/humorous effect: it doesn't have to be funny; it will be inflammatory.

use of satirical technique: verisimilitude, hyperbole, understatement, irony...

voice and style: unique; doesn't resort to sarcasm.

demonstrates your true control of satire - you don't end up satirizing yourself!

mechanical correctness
