Explain the purpose of your essay and how you intend to develop it: using examples from your life and tracking your progress through your portfolio.

II. WHAT THE CLASS TAUGHT YOU – 1 to 3 paragraphs

Describe your academic and class centered learning. Use at least three examples from your work as shown in your portfolio.

III. WHAT YOU LEARNED THROUGH YOUR PERSONAL INITIATIVE – 1 to 3 paragraphs

Describe your personal growth as shown through any progress you’ve made: your ability to meet deadlines, your attendance record, your personal and extra-curricular activities, your class participation, etc…

IV. CONCLUSION – 1 paragraph

Sum it all up and make sense of it. How have you done? What would you like to do better? This is your chance to say whatever you want about your growth and progress.
