1. Journal/Bell-Ringer: Review the book, Speak. (briefly) 2. Business:     a. Cancel: Vocab Quiz tomorrow.     b. Reminder: RnJ Act 1 due tomorrow. 3. Reader's Workshop     a. Final thoughts on Speak - share a few journals.     b. Thematic Relationships         1) Full group: List the five major readings on your paper; under each, list as many themes as you can.         2) Small group: Create Venn Diagrams to relate as many of the works to each other as possible - RnJ will come in later so leave a circle for it too!         3) Hang your findings on the wall - we will add to it next Monday! 4. HW: RnJ Act 1 due tomorrow.

Tuesday 5/10
