Assign: Find a novel that focuses on courage.  Fiction or bio is fine.  If you can focus on a particular person (biography), that would be ideal. Due: T, 2.8
    b. Announce: Props - do not bring to class until Wednesday.  Guns/Swords - let's get one set.  What is the most number of each we need?
    c. Advice: Stress Reduction: Planning ahead and diminishing dependence.
    d. Review: Make sure all classes have updated and completed Surprise and Suspense wheels.
3. Writer's Workshop:  
The Mitty Daydream Skit
    a. View "Within a Minute" - what it takes to do a real production.
        *Emphasis: drafting,
storyboarding, willingness to make mistakes, compromise and dealing with rejection of ideas - all of which will reduce stress as well!
    b. Work on skits
        1) Use rubric to check for what you need.
        2) Timing!

    c. Announce: Current due date for skits is moved back into next week - we'll have to see how things go to nail down the due date.
    d. Announce: We will need to do a District Checkpoint Writing tomorrow, so get as far as you can today, and we'll pick up where you leave off Monday.
