1. Journal/Bell-Ringer: Discuss the importance and sources of character in good story telling together. Then, write: Create the beginnings of a character you would like to see in a story - particularly the story you are going to write.

    a. Use your initial character invented in today's Bell-Ringer.
    b. Develop your character: 20 Questions (teacher led).
    c. We will get to 13 today and finish tomorrow in class.

Wednesday 1/5
1. Journal/Bell-Ringer: What does your character want?  What would he/she be willing to do to get it?  To say it another way, what sort of moral decision maker is your character?

Suspenseful Narrative Workshop
    a. Finish 20 questions to develop your character.
    b. Review District Rubric to see what we are getting into.
    c. Assign: Plot Planner.
        1) Begin together with explanations.
        2) Finish for HW.
