1. Journal/Bell-Ringer: Tell all about the best story you ever read.  What made it great?  Be specific and detailed.
2. Business:
    Keep: Frankenstein / Novel around.

3. Writer’s Workshop 1

    a. Assign: Kick in the RIR Nomination.
    b. Turn in when done.
 4. Student Workshop
    a. Return any graded work from 9 weeks.
    b. Receive 9 weeks grade printout – double check for accuracy.
        *Any missing work?
    c. Receive Exam Score slip.
        1) Explain what each score means.
        2) Review essays/exam tomorrow.
5. Writer’s Workshop 2
    a. Discuss today’s journal
    b. What elements make up a short story?
    c. Brainstorm: If you were to write a great story, what would you include?  List, share, refine.
