    a. Assign: FC of Sociogram, share with class, and turn in if we get done; otherwise, finish for HW.
    b. Additional Assignment - for an "A": Label at least four of your connections with a quote!
    c. HINT: Have a key!
4. HW: Finish Sociogram FC with Quotes.
Tuesday 10/5
1. Journal/Bell-Ringer: What do you think Steinbeck's theme was regarding hopes and dreams?  What other themes did you infer from the book?

    b. Turn in Sociograms.
    c. Assign Nietzsche Essay - read and OUTLINE tonight.
3. Reader's Workshop: OMM
    a. Think (journal) - Pair - Share
    b. Discuss themes.
    c. Add to our theme wheel.
*Begin reading and annotating Nietzsche essay if time allows.

Wednesday 10/6
1. Journal/Bell-Ringer: What did you think of the essay?  Agree?  Disagree?  Tone?  Style? Is it descriptive or prescriptive?

    a. Reminder: Organizational Checks this week: Class Notebooks.
    b. Turn in late Sociograms.
3. Reader's Workshop Nietzsche
    a. Discuss general reactions to the essay.
    b. Briefly answer Q's on worksheet in note for so we can discuss.
        *Teacher checking essay outline during work time.
    c. Discuss end of selection Q's - meaning and language.
    d. Apply to OMM - Who are the master's?  Who are the slaves?  Who has a mix?
    e. If time, more with OMM themes.
