1. Journal/Bell-Ringer: Tell how to do something simple that you do well in first person present tense. Ex. Make a great sandwich; help a friend in need; you get the idea. Then write it again in passive voice; then again in 2nd person active/imperative mood (commands - you can use the "understood you").

1. Journal/Bell-Ringer: How do the expectations of others both help and hurt your drive to achieve your dreams?  More interestingly, how do your expectations both help and hurt that same drive?
