1. Journal/Bell-Ringer: Reactions through Chapter 2:  Summarize, react, predict.
2. Business
    a. Reminder: Book bag checks Friday.
    b. Assign: Read OMM through Chapter 4 by Friday - with literacy strategy.
        *Anybody want a Character Graphic Organizer - let me know.
3. Reader's Workshop
    a. Review Steinbeck Obituary Questions & Discuss.
    b. Turn in.
    c. Return all work including Perfect Paragraphs.
    d. Steinbeck and Style.
        1) Take a five minute look back over your annotations.
        2) Draw some conclusions regarding Steinbeck's style and the assertions found in the Steinbeck Obit.
        3) Is he too polite?  Too urbane?  Too simple?
