Frankenstein Focused Study Project

Your group’s task will be to teach a two day lesson from the areas of study for Frankenstein assigned to you.  Essentially, you will spend a day on each of your topics, though you will have some freedom to use the time as you see fit.  Below you will find the requirements for the lesson and the criteria by which you will be graded.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Recorders for your group must present notes about your group’s performance for all days of preparation.  This, along with an informal Honor System and your actual performance during all lessons, will determine the effort/participation grade for your group.

2.  Your lesson must include:

A.     A fully developed written lesson plan turned in prior to the lesson.

B.     An in-depth and meaningful examination of your assigned areas of focus.

C.    At least three different learning activities.

D.    Some connection between what you learn from the story and the students’ real lives.

E.     Ten multiple choice test questions as explained on the Frankenstein Focused Study Test Question page.

F.     Bibliographic information for all resources used.
