Monday 3/28

1. Journal/Bell-Ringer: FIX IT: Copy the "sentences" into your grammar section or journal. Then, FIX IT! He steps outside into the bitter cold of the January winter only using the moon light to see his dirty dark truck covered in mud, he opens his tail gate, “bam”.
2. Business:
    a. Announce: Bring completed speech note cards with you tomorrow for practice!
    b. Assign: Ch. 6 Night w/ SG and vocab - due Wednesday.
    c. Reminder: Keep bringing Night books everyday.
3. Night Workshop: Tiered Work
    a. Finish in class today.
        1) Level 1: Acts of Kindness & Cruelty (handout only available in class)
        2) Level 2: Two-Voice Poetry - Practice to perfection!
        3) Level 3: Maslow Analysis and Quotations
    b. All students be prepared to turn in work or even present to class when done.
4. HW: 1) Bring completed speech note cards to class tomorrow; 2) Ch. 6 Night w/ SG and vocab - due Wednesday.

Tuesday 3/29

    a. Review Courage Speech Rubric.
    b. Practice speech with partner up to 10 times.

1. Journal/Bell-Ringer: FIX IT: Milo has been my best friend since grade school and my secret crush ever since and now we work together in the same department here in the New York CIA office.

    c. Announce: Finish Night w/ SG and vocab by Friday.

3. Courage Speech Workshop
    a. Review Courage Speech Rubric.
    b. Practice speech with partner up to 10 times.
    c. Cuttin' the Mustard Session: Volunteers give speech to class while teacher critiques.
