2. Business:
    a. Reminder: Book bag checks Friday.
    b. Announce: More literature books are in so get yours today!
    c. Assign: Read OMM through Chapter 4 by Friday - with literacy strategy.
3. Reader's Workshop
    a. Return Literacy Strategy sheets - anyone not approved should take care of that now.
    b. Distribute Character Graphic Organizers to those who requested them.
        1) All others chose annotation, note-taking, post-reading journals/summaries may do thost.
        2) Those wishing to quiz themselves can find quizzes online for now.
    c. Return "Mother to Son" Worksheet.
        1) Examine exemplar responses.
        2) Compare to yours - make adjustments.
        3) You will be able to make up points later.
    d. If time, discuss book/themes so far.
        1) Remind: Focus on theme and character.
        2) Refresh: Essential Q's.

    a. Distribute Grade Sheets - Assign: Signed and returned on Monday.
    b. Review grades, fix any errors, turn in missing work.
