    b. Brainstorm possible uses throughout your multigenre project.

    c. Refer to paper requirements for references to these techniques.

    d. Look through your sample project:

        2) Identify other types of writing throughout and share with class.

    e. Open writing as time allows.

3. Laptops tomorrow – come prepared to do some writing.

Wednesday 5/14

1. Journal: Take a little break and just do a 5 minute open write.  Relax and write anything you want.

2. Multigenre Project (with laptops)

    a. Let’s write a piece or two today.  Just pick a type of writing you’d like to try and go for it.  I’m here to help as you desire.

    b. Two RDs of any type you like off the required list are due Friday.

    c. Don’t forget your Grammar B techniques!

    d. You may choose to do more research today if you like but remember that the two RDs due date of Friday still applies to you.  We’ll be in the media center tomorrow, so if you can, save further research for then and write today.

    e. Return work – short stories are trickling back now so I imagine everyone will have theirs back by the middle of next week.

Thursday 5/15

1. Journal: none

2. Multigenre Project (in media center)

    a. Today is an ideal day to complete any remaining research you might have.

    b. Of course, you may work on your writing as well.

        1) Two RDs of any type you like off the required list are due tomorrow.

        2) Don’t forget your Grammar B techniques!

        3) Remember that you can do all sorts of writings in addition to the minimum requirements.

Friday 5/16

1. Journal: none

2. Multigenre Project (with laptops)

    a. Have your first two RDs checked.

    b. Work on writings or share writings and ideas so far in full group roundtable.  I’ll let you decide which you think is more appropriate.

    c. We won’t have computers next week, so bring all materials with you to write.  I’ll probably take a couple of the days to teach you some specific writing types too.
