Monday 1/31
1. Journal/Bell-Ringer: none
2. Business:
    a. Turn in: Othello movie permission slips & 55 Word Microfictions.
    b. Turn in: Play extra-credit review.
    c. Reminder: Othello reading schedule: Act 2 by Friday. &  eCampus postings.
    d. Reminder: You should have your novels for this semester as of today.
3. Reader/Writer Workshop: "Chimney Sweeper" timed writing review.
    a. Read the poems again. (Don't forget you have more "experience" now with Blake - innocence and experience.
    b. Read and review professional critical essay - highlight key points, esp. THE key point - the first one is positive only in its sad, pathetic, victimized irony.
    c. Read and review at least the high level sample essay if not all three.
    d. Compare your essay to the sample(s).
    e. Assign: Extra Credit assignment for "Chimney Sweep" timed writing.
        1) Due next Monday.
        2) Clarification: Create outlines for both poems in which you create a thesis that reveals central meaning and delineate three techniques that support that thesis.  Your techniques should have explanations - don't just list them!
4. HW: Othello reading & eCampus responses.

    b. eCampus posts through Act 2. (If you get to 3, that's great but I won't hold it against you if you don't!)
4. HW: Othello reading through Act 2 and posts through Act 2 as needed.
