    a. Hypnopaedic Messages - What do they mean?
    b. Who would want such messages now?  Who would fight against them?  What would they be?

    a. Generate current or past slogans used in our advertising (use computer or overhead in room).
        1) What are they saying?
        2) What values do they appeal to?
    b. What do we think of the values found in our advertisements? What do we think of the importance of consumption in our economy? What problems does this approach present?
    c. Assign: The World State PSA - handout in class.
4.HW: Read Chs. 7-13 by tomorrow.

Thursday 4/8

2. Business: Assign: Read rest of book by next Tuesday.
3. BNW Workshop - PSAs
    Groups complete as much of a draft as possible with missing students.
