Tuesday 5/6

1. Journal: Go back to any old journal.  Rewrite it using one of the Grammar B techniques we reviewed yesterday.

2. PM Workshop: Focus and Writing

    a. Review what is now underway:

        1) Interview is done and you are drafting a Character Sketch.

            a) Remember the Bill Clinton example but realize you can do it in many different ways.

            b) However, this is a character sketch and not a straight narrative of the questions and answers: definitely avoid that!

            c) The final copy of this character sketch (due next Tuesday) will appear in your final scrapbook with pics and collages, and your interview notes; the RD/RRD of this is due Friday.

        2) Your 4 Capturing Moments visit/observations are done and you are drafting/revising a Personal Narrative or for one and a Descriptive Essay for another.

            a) You began one of these last Wednesday.

            b) Do not forget that in addition to the links to each scoring guide above, there are samples of these on the Writing Sample Library page of the site.

            c) The RDs/RRDs of these pieces are due Friday with the Final Copies due next Tuesday.

            d) All 4 visits/observation notes with pics/cut-outs plus the Personal Narrative and Descriptive Essay final copies with the same goodies will appear in your scrapbook.

    b. Go over any Grammar B techniques we missed yesterday.

    c. Complete writings as needed – use your Grammar B techniques to revise – let’s see some creativity!
