1. Journal: In your opinion,
what makes a piece of writing good or bad?
Try to think of at least three different criteria and explain why each
is important.
2. Collect Paper Info Forms,
if needed.
3. Writer’s Roundtable
a. Various readers share parts and wholes
of their work with the class. (Volunteers
are noted.)
b. Ground rules:
1) All students are to have paper and
pencil and will write down one comment for every paper – keeps you focused and
thinking.
2) Comments can be only positive and
constructive. (Maybe practice a few before we start…)
c. Read and discuss our writing.
